West Memphis is the smallest community in the nation to have two national arts education programs, including a Wolf Trap Regional Program and a Lincoln Center Aesthetic Education Institute. The city is also known for being the incubator for the modern electric blues and was home to the Plantation Inn and Sonny Boy Williamson.

Residents of West Memphis can take full advantage of the area’s pleasant climate at one of the city’s numerous parks and recreation facilities.

Tilden Rodgers Sports Complex
Rodgers Complex has several baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, 1-mile walking track, two pavilions and an eight-acre fishing pond. The pond is stocked by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Pavilions can be rented for $25.00 each, per day. Each pavilion is located next to the eight-acre pond and has group-cooking grills, play area, volleyball area, two horseshoe pits and plenty of parking.
